EvergreenLink expands offering with Incentive Fees dataset
Published: Jul 27, 2026

The EvergreenLink team is excited to announce the expansion of our evergreen fund intelligence offering with the introduction of a new dataset: Incentive Fees.

Of the 300+ evergreen funds we track, around 43% charge an incentive fee. Users can now view full details on these fees as well as their calculation basis, hurdle rate and period, catch-up rate and limit, post-catch-up rate, and loss-offset treatment. The feature also includes detailed descriptions of share class arrangements, such as separate income-based and capital gains-based components, payment frequencies, and cumulative calculation methods.

Combined with our existing data on management fees, sales loads, distribution fees, and redemption fees, users can now easily compare costs across evergreen funds through on-site comparison tools and exports

These fee-level insights build on our existing share class analytics, which cover historical ownership, returns, NAVs, investment minimums, turnover, and total expenses. This data is available for more than 300 semi-liquid vehicles, including interval funds, tender offer funds, BDCs, and 3(c)(7) exempt funds.

Use-Cases for Fund Managers and Wealth Allocators

For fund managers, the new Incentive Fees feature supports competitive benchmarking and product positioning by enabling direct comparisons of fee percentages, structures, calculation bases, hurdle rates, and catch-up provisions across peer evergreen funds.

For RIAs, family offices, banks, and other wealth allocators, it provides greater visibility into a fund's total cost structure and makes it easier to compare fund economics and evaluate prospective investments.

"Whether you're benchmarking your own fund or evaluating evergreen investment opportunities, having this information in one place makes fee analysis more transparent and efficient," said EvergreenLink CEO Brian McGrath.

Integration and Access

The Incentive Fees dataset is accessible directly on the EvergreenLink platform, exportable into Excel, and available via API, supporting seamless integration into institutional research and portfolio workflows.

Beyond fees, EvergreenLink offers insight into the returns, capital flows, growth, and >60,000 current portfolio holdings across 300+ evergreen funds.
