Robinhood Ventures Fund I is a newly organized, non-diversified closed-end fund that seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing in a concentrated portfolio of generally ten or more private “Frontier Companies” that the adviser views as best-in-class businesses at the leading edge of their sectors. The fund intends to make both direct and indirect investments, typically limiting initial exposure to any one company to no more than 20% of assets, and its risk disclosures indicate a thematic tilt toward areas such as AI, fintech, aerospace and defense, software, and related technology-driven industries. Unlike an interval fund, Robinhood Ventures Fund I is exchange-listed on the NYSE under the ticker RVI, so liquidity comes through trading in the market rather than periodic repurchase offers, which means the shares can trade at a discount or premium to NAV. The fund is advised by Robinhood Ventures DE, LLC, an SEC-registered adviser formed in August 2025 and wholly owned by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
