Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Opportunities Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company registered under the 1940 Act and organized as a Massachusetts business trust. Structured as an interval fund, it continuously offers its shares and provides limited liquidity through periodic repurchase offers pursuant to Rule 23c-3. The Fund commenced operations on September 29, 2023, with the launch of Class I shares, and subsequently began offering Class A and Class U shares on December 15, 2023. Its investment objective is to provide a high level of current income by investing primarily in senior floating-rate loans and junior loans of U.S. and foreign corporate issuers. The Fund may also invest in other debt obligations and employs fair value methodologies consistent with Rule 2a-5 when market quotations are unavailable or deemed unreliable. Shares are not listed on any national securities exchange and no secondary market is expected to develop, making the investment suitable only for investors able to bear limited liquidity.
