Schroders Capital Semi-Liquid Global Private Equity is a sub-fund of Schroders Capital Semi-Liquid, an open-ended Luxembourg SICAV under Part II of the Law of 17 December 2010 and an alternative investment fund. Its investment strategy is based on an alternative investment strategy designed by the Investment Manager, with Schroders Capital Management (Switzerland) AG listed as investment manager for the sub-fund. The Company’s objective is to place funds in transferable securities and other permitted assets, including derivatives and private equity assets, with the purpose of spreading investment risks and affording shareholders the results of portfolio management. The sub-fund’s portfolio included investments in investee funds, liquidity funds, other securities and private-equity holding structures; the report notes that securities or other financial assets the sub-fund may invest into may be difficult to sell and that eventual liquidity depends on the success of any realisation strategy.
