Carlyle AlpInvest Private Markets Secondaries Fund is a Delaware statutory trust registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 as a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company, with AlpInvest Private Equity Investment Management, LLC serving as investment adviser and Carlyle Global Credit Investment Management L.L.C. as sub-adviser. The Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by opportunistically allocating across a global portfolio of private markets investments. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of net assets plus investment borrowings are invested in Secondary Investments, including LP interest purchases, GP-led transactions, continuation funds, fund recapitalizations, stapled secondaries, spin-outs and direct asset purchases. It may also invest up to 10% in Primary Investments and hold fixed-income investments for liquidity management.
