Ares Private Markets Fund is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of private equity and other private assets. Its investment strategy includes secondary purchases of interests in private equity funds, primary investments in newly formed funds, and direct or co-investments in private companies. The Fund is actively managed and allocates primarily to secondary investments, with additional exposure to primary and direct investments. It may also hold liquid assets, fixed-income securities, and other investment instruments for portfolio management purposes. The Fund is managed by Ares Capital Management II LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ares Management Corporation. Investments are limited to accredited investors and qualified clients as defined under U.S. securities regulations.
